Biography

I received my B. A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio in elementary education. I taught first grade at Indian Creek Elementary School in SWISD and kindergarten at Pearce Primary School. In 1994 I earned my M.S. degree from Texas A&M University in Kingsville.�In 1995�I became Vice Principal at Pearce Primary School where I remained until 2002. That year I transferred to Southside Heritage Elementary School as assistant principal. I was awarded my EdD in educational leadership from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2003 and am now principal of Pearce�Primary School. I have been married to my husband for over 30 years.� We have three grown daughters and seven wonderful grandchildren.

Personal Message

We did it! Pearce is now a T.E.A. Exemplary Campus! It took a lot of hard work but in the end it has paid off. We thank the parents, students and community for their support and pledge to continue to give every child an EXEMPLARY education.
